On the day of her death, the Prime Minister will be one of the first to be informed of the monarch's passing.
Details of what will happen, named Operation London Bridge, were leaked to Politico, which says officials will refer to the day the Queen dies as 'D Day'. The days following called D Day plus the number of days that have passed. For example the second day will be D Day Plus One.
