Queen 'on great form' hosting royal reception ahead of historic Platinum Jubilee
The Queen is all smiles as she is pictured becoming the first British monarch ever to mark 70 years reign.
The monarch looked smart wearing an Angela Kelly wedgewood blue crepe with white brocade dress as she welcomed her guests. The Queen met Angela Wood, who as a student was tasked by royal florist and cookery doyenne Constance Spry alongside cordon bleu chef Rosemary Hume to help with their dish of Coronation Chicken for the coronation of the Queen that took place in June 1953.
