Queen legend Brian May has been pictured looking happy and healthy on a day out with his wife, despite his recent health scare where he suffered a worrying stroke.
Queen guitarist Brian May has been seen enjoying a spot of cricket at The Kia Oval, looking relaxed and cheerful just weeks after suffering a stroke that temporarily robbed him of control in his left arm. The 77 year old rock icon, who only opened up about his health scare this week, was spotted alongside his wife Anita Dobson, appearing to be in high spirits - despite recent reports that his recovery meant staying at home.
He continued with gratitude for the medical team that assisted him: "I have to say I had the most fantastic care and attention from Frimley Hospital where I went blue lights flashing... the lot. Very exciting! ". The NHS stresses the importance of recognising stroke symptoms promptly, highlighting: "The main stroke symptoms can be remembered with the word FAST: Face the face may have dropped on 1 side, the person may not be able to smile, or their mouth or eye may have drooped.", reports the Mirror.
