A close aide of the Queen has been rewarded with a home for life
One of the Queen's final acts before her death was to ensure that one of her most trusted confidants was able to stay on in her grace-and-favour home at Windsor.
The Queen's staff will be typically given just a month's notice at the end of her reign before they find out if they will be redeployed to another Royal household or whether they must look for alternative employment. But following her death it appears as though one of her favourite members of staff, Angela, 64, will be able to stay on in her grace-and-favour home after her death, according to the Mail Online.
Although Angela began working for the royals as a fashion advisor her close bond to the Queen led to an unlikely friendship. Sources also suggested that rather than simply advise on fashion, Angela became more of a lady-in-waiting. She would fetch and carry and even advise.
