Queen's royal guards pictured taking a rare break out of uniform after 24-hour schedule
The Queen’s royal guards have been snapped taking a rare break without their uniforms on after collectively working a 24-hour schedule.
Typically located at the Tower of London, the guards have been watching over the late monarch’s coffin in recent days and have been spotted in Westminster Hall standing guard alongside The Gentlemen at Arms, as well as Princess Anne at one point. A group of men sit on sofas as they appear to watch television. Still wearing their statement red trousers, all the guards had their jackets and hats hung up and kicked their shoes off.“This incredible picture captures the Royal guards taking a break after guarding the Queen’s coffin.People online have since rushed to thank the guards for their service.
