The Queen's nod to Ukraine ❤️
Amid the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the Queen made a subtle tribute while holding an audience with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Windsor Castle yesterday.
In new snaps of the pair, the Queen, who had already met Trudeau during the international G7 summit in 2021, was all-smiles with the Canadian. Mr Trudeau confirmed he talked to Her Majesty about Ukraine too, explaining: "I can tell you in my conversation with her this morning she was as insightful and perspicacious as ever, very interested in what's going on."
Inside the Cathedral, the royal couple met some children from the associated Ukrainian school and received a traditional offering of bread and salt.
