The Queen jets off for the Jubilee: Her Majesty spotted at Aberdeen Airport for flight to London
The 96-year-old monarch was photographed arriving at Aberdeen Airport today on her way back to London. The Queen has been at Scottish home, Balmoral, one of her favourite places, for a private visit since Thursday.
It comes as preparations continue for four-day Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which are due to start Thursday. Celebrations will start with a special Trooping of the Colour, followed by a service of Thanksgiving on Friday. Epsom Derby - a favourite of the Queen's - will take place on Saturday followed by Jubilee Pageant on Sunday.
