THE Queen today urged Brits to do their "vitally important" part and to avoid pubs as the nation is gripped by coronavirus.

"At times such as these, I am reminded that our nation’s history has been forged by people and communities coming together to work as one, concentrating our combined efforts with a focus on the common goal." And the Queen's message to protect the most vulnerable comes as supermarkets were put under immense strain amid panic-buying Brits.

She was this morning seen casually dressed in a cardigan and a navy padded gilet, with one of her dorgis - she has two named Candy and Vulcan - sitting next to her.The 98-year-old had always planned to be with her for Easter, with his schedule changed to match her revised plans.As Philip and I arrive at Windsor today, we know that many individuals and families across the United Kingdom, and around the world, are entering a period of great concern and uncertainty.
