Jyles and Rainey Lebler say their mother wouldn't willingly leave them behind as they beg for information on the woman who was last seen checking out of a Gold Coast clinic in 1995.

Queensland Police are offering a $500,000 reward for information to help solve a Gold Coast cold case murder.Detectives and Ms Dyson's family are hoping to identify a mystery woman believed to be the last person to see her alive.

State coroner Michael Barnes found in 2012 she was likely murdered, but ruled the date, time and cause of her death were unknown. She was described as an outgoing, happy-go-lucky girl who loved music, tarot cards and astrology, and who dreamed of one day becoming an actress. She started work in the adult entertainment industry, under the nickname Pebbles, and it was in the seedy underworld of Fortitude Valley strip clubs that investigators say she began associating with criminals and using drugs.

Four days later, Ms Dyson was checked out by a mystery woman who told staff at the clinic she was her sister. On July 21, Ms Dyson completed a statutory declaration, signed by a justice of the peace at Tweed Heads, giving custody of her children and all of her possessions to her mother Loretta. Queensland police cold case investigation team member Tara Kentwell said police also wanted to speak to anyone in Brisbane or the Gold Coast who could shed light on Ms Dyson's movements around the time of her disappearance.

"Whoever has picked her up, I'm not saying they have done something but they must know something bad has happened," Jyles Lebler said.
