The man suspected of pouring hot coffee on a nine-month-old baby may have fled the country as police confirm international authorities are assisting their investigations. An unknown man poured a scalding thermos full of coffee on the child at a park at Stones Corner, in Brisbane , before fleeing last week.

Baby goes home after sickening attack. The boy was rushed to Queensland Children’s Hospital with burns to his face and chest. He was scheduled to undergo multiple surgeries following the attack but was earlier this week allowed to go home. New videos released by the family show the young boy wrapped in bandages, taking tentative steps and seemingly in good spirits despite the serious burns.
