Risby-Jones' family have released a statement on his behalf in which they said he was "disturbed by his actions and takes full responsibility for them".Bodhi Mani Risby-Jones could be lashed up to 40 times after his drunk, naked rampage through an Indonesian town.
"He is extremely remorseful and apologetic and acknowledges the pain he has caused the victim Mr Edi Ron and his family," his family said. The police report said local Edi Ron suffered injuries to his feet after Risby-Jones allegedly pushed a motorcycle into him.The Queenslander will not be deported and is due to face court in the Aceh province, where Sharia Law is practised.
