Police said they are aware that an incident in which an escaped cow was struck twice by a response vehicle on a residential street has caused "distress".

The video was posted on X, formerly Twitter, by someone who said it happened in Feltham, west London, on Thursday evening. The RSPCA described the video as "upsetting and and distressing" and said it would be contacting the force about the incident.Wildlife activist and presenter Chris Packham said: "I don’t know where to start with this."What sort of monster rams a calf? Twice?"It said: “The cow ran onto a number of main roads and caused traffic disruption within the local area.It said the animal has been seen by a vet and is receiving treatment for a large cut to its leg.
