In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant at the Tribeca Film Festival, Edelstein, who played Dr. Lisa Cuddy, spoke about the potential for a reboot. Edelstein reflects that House is still a fairly popular show, especially considering the influence of streaming. She also believes that people are seeking something that is as "politically incorrect" as Dr. House could be, but she still views a follow-up show as an uncertain prospect.
It’s complicated, but, I mean, I'm not sure. I mean, everything's possible. I mean, it was such a wonderful experience when it was existing. I love that young people are embracing it again. It’s really interesting to me because, culturally, things just keep shifting back and forth. The Good Doctor was David Shore's next show, and it’s kind of the inverse of House, where everybody's so good.
It's exciting that it's getting a fresh look lately. I hope Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce gets a fresh look, because I loved being a part of that!House Drama House is a medical mystery drama in which the villain is typically a difficult-to-diagnose medical malady.
