The Light Blues attacker has shown glimpses of what he can offer as he continues to look to win over his Ibrox doubters but it appears he will now spend a period on the sidelines in a major blow.
Michael Beale admits Rabbi Matondo's injury 'doesn't look good' after the Rangers winger was forced off in the first half at Ibrox.
He started the win over Motherwell yesterday with boss Beale revealing 'honest words' with his players in the aftermath of the game after 'getting away with one' in Govan. Cyriel Dessers was the matchwinner as he diverted Matondo's goal bound effort beyond Liam Kelly in the first period to secure a third successive win and the three points. But the Light Blues winger was forced off after appearing to pick up an injury to his knee.
