Giving a rabbit a partner will make them a happier bunny as they are sociable animals who suffer loneliness on their own, say experts.

The British Veterinary Association says almost half of pet bunnies are lonely and is calling on the Government to ensure pet shops only sell rabbits in pairs. The animals live in groups in the wild and require communication with other members of their species if they are to remain happy and healthy.
