She decided to go to Paris anyway, but Ross realised he was still in love with her. With the help of Phoebe and her death cab, he chased Rachel to the airport, and after a few mix-ups, he professed his love and begged her to stay… only for her to get on the plane anyway.A devastated Ross returned to his apartment, where he received a voicemail from Rachel, who was attempting to get off the plane as she realised she loved him too.
Ross seemed to hate Rachel’s success from the get-go, as we saw in the infamous The One Where Ross And Rachel Take A Break. Rachel, a former trust fund baby who lived off her father’s credit cards, had finally started to succeed in her dream fashion job, working up the ranks at Bloomingdale’s.
