Audrey Haswell mocked an OAP's accent and deliberately sprayed water in the face of a resident while laughing at them - she has now been punished for her cruel actions.
A 'racist' Glasgow care home employee has been sacked after a spate of cruel incidents towards the OAPs she was caring for.
The watchdog has now banned her from the care sector and ruled that her conduct is “fundamentally incompatible with the values of the profession”. While delivering personal care to another resident, Haswell was found to have said: "I’ve never been battered before in my life so you can try it" and "I’m going to batter you."
Then on October 26, while delivering personal care to a resident, the watchdog found she deliberately sprayed water from the shower into their face while laughing. "You made racist and derogatory comments about a resident and you mocked CC’s spoken language and accent. Your behaviour was racist as well as insulting to a resident of a different cultural background which is unacceptable in any circumstances.
