Radio host Jason McIntyre says that the Pittsburgh Steelers should trade T.J. Watt.
T.J. Watt and the Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to have a down year from last season, at least according to the oddsmakers., which has continued since their loss to the New England Patriots in the 2016 AFC Championship. While they want to do that, they need to find an answer at quarterback, and there is a very real chance that neither Russell Wilson nor Justin Fields is the answer.
FS1′s Jason McIntyre wants the Steelers to do something radical to fix their franchise problems. McIntyre floated the Steelers trading“You have no quarterback of the future. Neither quarterback is signed after this year. Here’s a radical idea, and sometimes you need to get radical; I think you have to put T.J. Watt on the trade walk,” McIntyre said. “And after your heads are done exploding in Pittsburgh...why are you trading T.J. Watt? Because it’s not a defensive league.
The Steelers are looking to win a playoff game this season. If that does not materialize, the team must make even bolder moves to land a quarterback that can lead them to wins in the playoffs. They have not found the solution since Ben Roethlisberger retired, and the urgency for the Steelers has to increase with Watt only getting older.
