BREAKING: Rafael Nadal has officially announced his withdrawal from the French Open due to his long-term injury problems.

Nadal is the most successful player in Roland-Garros history having won a record 14 men’s singles titles and has never skipped it since making his main draw debut, pulling out during the tournament just once, with a wrist problem in 2016.last month after being forced to miss the Monte-Carlo Masters and was subsequently absent from key clay-court events in Madrid and Rome as his chances of playing in Paris became increasingly unlikely.

He was spotted practicing on clay courts in a desperate attempt to return at the second Grand Slam of the yearrumours circulating that Nadal may soon retire from tennis , after fellow great Roger Federer hung up his racket last year, and even without injury problems some have speculated that he may spend less time on the ATP Tour than in previous years due to the fact he became a father in October 2022.
