Rain moves through Southwest and Southcentral Alaska while Flood Watches are in place in northern areas as well as the Yukon River.

Rain moves through Southcentral and Southwest Alaska on Tuesday.ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A front is swinging through Southwest and Southcentral Alaska Tuesday bringing rain and a rain/snow mix to the regions.

Along with the rain, winds are also picking up around Southcentral. Anchorage will see winds gusting to about 25 mph with the higher elevations and Turnagain Arm experiencing gusts to 45 mph. Mat-Su residents should also expect to see winds out of the east at 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.
