The Stark's Park club have been without a permanent boss since they sacked Ian Murray in the wake of a 1-0 away defeat to Airdrieonians on the opening weekend of the Championship season last month. Since then, Colin Cameron and John Potter have stepped into take charge of first team affairs until an appointment is made and have overseen two wins and two losses in the second tier at the helm.
Earlier on Tuesday, his predecessor Murray had opened up on his shock departure in Fife. Murray's statement read: "I was stunned when I received a short telephone call from Andrew Barrowman on the Sunday morning after the Airdrie match telling me my contract was being terminated.
