Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton have called it quits after five years
Malek – who won an Oscar for his performance as the late Freddie Mercury in 2019 – paid tribute to his actress girlfriend while accepting one of his many accolades at a film festival gala at the time.
He said: ‘Lucy Boynton, you are the heart of this film, you are beyond immensely talented, you have captured my heart” as the blonde looked on fondly from the crowd.’ Rami most recently appeared in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, as David Hill, a nuclear physicist who helped create the atomic bomb during World War Two.
He also appeared as the main villain, Lyutsifer Safin, in the latest James Bond film No Time to Die alongside Daniel Craig. Lucy’s breakout role was in the Queen biopic, but prior to that she appeared in Murder on the Orient Express in 2017 and most recently was Proust Barbie in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie film.
