Jackson, who started 15 games last season for the Rams, has missed most of preseason with an ankle sprain.
LA Rams Alaric Jackson, #77, at Rams Practice on Monday, July 29, 2024. Rams starting left tackle Alaric Jackson has been suspended by the NFL for two games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, the league announced on Friday.
The NFL did not announce the exact violation for which Jackson was suspended. He will be out for the first two games of the season, at the Lions in Week 1 and at the Cardinals in Week 2. A 15-game starter at left tackle last season, Jackson, a former undrafted free agent, has missed most of the Rams’ preseason preparations with an ankle sprain.
He is the second Ram to be suspended for the first two games this season; QB Jimmy Garoppolo will be suspended for a violation of the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs that occurred while he was a member of the Raiders last season.
