The founders of Texas bread company Mrs. Baird’s plan to part ways with their Hill Country ranch.
Located in Blanco County six miles east of Johnson City, Baird Miller Creek Ranch covers more than 760 acres and is listed for $12.95 million. While it’s not the most sprawling or most expensive property on the market, it does have a unique aspect in that its uses are — to an extent — limited. The owner’s grandparents placed a conservation easement on the property in 1990 preserving the ranch into perpetuity. The family has managed the ranch since 1951.
The landscapes at Baird Miller Creek Ranch are filled with rolling rangelands with a variety of trees such as live oaks, redbuds, sycamores, pecans and cypresses, among others.
