14-time world champion and future Hall of Famer Randy Orton has reportedly signed a new five-year deal with the WWE.

After being gone for 18 months due to debilitating back pain, Randy Orton made his return to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames on Nov. 25, 2023.Since then, he has proven to be as popular as ever, coming out to cheers despite his previous heel personas. Now, it seems WWE executives have taken notice, and the Apex Predator will be sticking around for a long time.

While Priest could utilize his rematch clause to face the Ring General, he seems to be more focused on getting revenge against his former friends in Judgement Day with Rhea Ripley. Orton has the next best claim to the title since Gunther didn't actually pin him in the King of the Ring tournament final.Orton has been with the WWE since 2000. After a couple of years in Ohio Valley Wrestling, he made his main roster debut on March 16, 2002, in a losing effort against Tommy Dreamer.
