Rangers drew 2-2 with PSV Eindhoven to set up an absolute firecracker of a tie next week.
Alan Hutton and Kenny Miller were unanimous in their verdicts of Rangers' group stage hopes as the duo both agreed that the Light Blues CAN qualify for the main competition after a 2-2 draw vs PSV Eindhoven at Ibrox.
Abdallah Sima's strike on the cusp of half-time put the Gers in the driving seat, and although being pegged back by a well-worked Ibrahim Sangare goal, Rabbi Matondo's sweeping move edged the Light Blues back ahead. However, slack defending allowed Luuk de Jong to glance home from a corner with 10 to go - and it now means that we have an exact replica of last season to go again. But Miller and Hutton believe that history CAN be repeated after some positive signs on the night.
“They’ll know that when they go away [in the second leg] they can create opportunities and score goals. Their defence looked a little ropey at times, so there will be opportunities. Connor Goldson is right - Rangers will create things over there. "When Rangers look back on it, they looked more threatening in the second half but that second goal, to concede it so soon after regaining the lead and from a set play, they’ll be particular disappointed with that.
