The director of football insists the defender has a host of clubs chasing his signature this summer.
Barry Fry has claimed Peterborough’s multi-million rising star Ronnie Edwards would be too rich for Rangers.
“That means nothing, they could be watching the opposition or some other player. There have been some suggestions they are going to bid for him but they haven’t bid for him yet. I’m not even sure if they have the money to bid for him.” Fry also revealed they have already turned down bids from Premier League clubs but knows Edwards will eventually be sold but only when the price is right.
