It was anything but a quiet Sunday morning for our man Mark Pirie as the outgoing Ibrox CEO leaves with a big summer ahead for the Light Blues.
Rangers CEO James Bisgrove is heading for the exit door at Ibrox for a move to the Saudi Pro League - and it's got the punters talking on the Hotline.
Graham Taylor, Airdrie was more concerned with a big summer overhaul facing Philippe Clement. He said: "More calamity at Rangers with Bisgrove running at the first opportunity. When are we going to get stability at our club? Huge pressure on us once again going into the summer having to rebuild. It's a shambles from top to bottom. Can Clement fix it? I have my doubts."
Barry Ferguson got the punters talking as he urged Rangers to make moves for Motherwell wonderkid Lennon Miller and out of contract Connor Barron, who is inching closer to an Aberdeen exit. But an unimpressed James McCaw emailed: "I wish Barry Ferguson and the likes would stop urging the Old Firm to snap up the emerging young talent from the so called lesser clubs. These young players sometimes then can’t get a game instead of playing regularly where they are.
And across the city punters are also talking transfers - with Adam Idah the top name on the agenda. Stephen Mulhern, Dumbarton, said: "I totally understand Norwich playing hardball with Celtic over Idah with the impact he’s made in Scotland. However Brendan Rodgers should put his thinking cap on with the similarities Mikey Johnston made down south. I think £5million plus Johnston in exchange would be too tempting for Norwich to turn down.
