The big one isn't the only story in town but it is sure to be a cracker and here’s how observers feel it will pan out
It's hard to ever imagine Celtic vs Rangers playing second fiddle in this football mad country, however, the first derby of the season has had to share the limelight.
Kris Boyd Speaking to Sky Sports, Boyd said: "You look at Rangers in recent times going across the city, they've struggled. There's no getting away from it, and they're going to have to find a way to start getting results again. Celtic have started the season really, really well. I thought Rangers at the weekend , in terms of that performance, was probably the best 90 minutes of the season. But there's no getting away from it.
Barry Ferguson And the Rangers hero knows what he wants to happen. He told Go Radio: "I still get edgy, nervous and excited. Just a mixture of emotions. Looking forward to Sunday and it will be interesting to see what way the manager approaches it. Does he go man for man or sit very deep and try to hit Celtic on the counter-attack? So yeah, I am looking forward to seeing what personnel he goes with and how he approaches the game. We know what Celtic are going to do.
Mohamed Elyounoussi The former Celtic star reckons: "The first Old Firm of the season can have a big psychological factor, in terms of the momentum and confidence you can take from a victory. There is a long time left in the season, of course, but it is really good to win the first one, especially at home.”
