Football Insider has been told by Frank McAvennie that he is in no doubt that Jack Butland has been the best signing for Rangers this summer.
I said a couple of years ago that [Allan] McGregor was the best signing they made and it was proven, he saved them so many points and Butland will do that as well. That is what happens when you buy a good keeper.
Sometimes I have watched Celtic when they have been rubbish and Joe [Hart] has done that and pulled out some brilliant saves and got us the win when they really should not have won and Butland is doing that for Rangers now. McGregor did it for years and before him it was Andy Goram.
