The game in Dundee descended into chaos amid a multitude of delays to the Premiership match.
SPFL chiefs and select members of the Scottish government are poised for conversations after pyro controversy at Rangers' win over Dundee.
After all the stoppages and delays, the game eventually finished at 22:40. But according to BBC Scotland, it has forced the league's hierarchy and representatives of the government into talks with Police Scotland at a meeting which will be held by The Football Safety Officers Association. It's stated that "the increasing use of fireworks and flares at Scottish football grounds is to be discussed at a meeting later this month" between the four parties.
"The disruption to the game is obviously extremely regrettable. We await the delegate report and will be liaising with Police Scotland on the incident."
