The Light Blues are back on the European stage tomorrow night as they begin their Europa League bid for this season by welcoming La Liga outfit Real Betis to Ibrox under the lights.
Michael Beale has confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the midfielder will be absent for the Ibrox opener in the competition due to a calf issue. He will join Todd Cantwell and Danilio on the sidelines with the latter set to return to non-contract training come the end of the end of the next international break. That means he will miss at least the next SIX Rangers fixtures with no timescale on his team-mate Raskin at this stage.
His midfield colleague Cantwell was already ruled out of this one after it was revealed he would miss between three-four games after suffering an injury in the Old Firm defeat to Celtic. Speaking ahead of welcoming the La Liga outfit to Ibrox tomorrow night for a battle under the lights, Beale said: "Nico Raskin is out with a calf problem - Raskin, Cantwell and Danilo will be missing.
