The Ibrox side had a loan with an option to buy bid thrown out by the Spanish side
Rangers' hopes of landing defensive target Kaiky from Almeria have taken another hit after the Spanish side detailed their plan for the youngster.
Now reports from Spain from leading publication Marca state that his current employers are confident the stopper will stay at the club and that he has a bright future ahead of him. They report: "The Almería club is confident that the young centre-back has a great future and believes that it would be good for him to continue accumulating minutes in the Second Division, in this case with the red and white shirt .
The Belgian stated: “I told you guys already weeks ago, there’s been a clear talk with Hagi about before pre-season started. Gers require upgrades across the pitch but with the clock ticking, Clement will prioritise where he is allowed to spend the little cash he has. Quizzed on how many players he’d like to bring in, he said: “I will never respond to that question – if I put a number on that and it’s less, you guys will point out there’s a problem between me and the board.
