Goals from Bailey Rice and Findlay Curtis were enough to see the young Gers progress.A trip to Ibrox was next for the young Gers to face Hamilton where they won 3-0.Stuart McLaren's side secured their place in the final after thumping St Johnstone 5-0 at McDiarmid Park in the semi-final.
The Hoops defeated Dundee 4-0 in their first game in this years competition, while it was lower league side Devonvale who were up next and they were dispatched 11-0. A quarter-final against Dunfermline was up next for McLaren's side. Thye eventually came out 6-1 winners before heading to Perth for the semi.We are in place at Hampden and the pitch is looking perfect ahead of the youth cup final.
Considering there were two Scottish Cup semi-final games played on Saturday and Sunday the surface is looking great.
