Manchester United news as Ruben Amorim prepares for life in Manchester will plenty of tough tasks awaiting him
Ruben Amorim takes over at Manchester United on Monday and doing so, will embark on one of the toughest jobs in world football.
After Erik ten Hag rescued his job with a FA Cup final win in May, the Dutchman’s failure to continue the optimistic wave into the new season resulted in his sacking. Much has been made of his 3-4-3 system and the difficulty he will have in implementing his system mid-season, especially to a group of players used to a structured back four.
Amorim’s fluid style of play could compliment Rashford. Taking the responsibility off him to play wide, the 27-year-old has the potential to become one of United’s most dangerous players once again. United aren’t expected to be busy in the January transfer window meaning it’s likely that group will have time to impress the new head coach. However, it will become clear, very quickly, how much of a role they will play under Amorim.Quite a simple one here but United’s run of over a decade since winning the Premier League title has to come to an end at some point.
