Erik ten Hag blasts fixture congestion as he gives worrying Marcus Rashford news MUFC
Manchester United are awaiting news on the fitness of Marcus Rashford after he limped out of their 2-0 win over Everton.
“I don’t know. It is like this when you have to play so many games in short notice, especially when the schedule is this tight,” Ten Hag added to the BBC. “Players can’t recover and you run the risk that players can get injured. You have to be aware of that. “If Rashford is out for any length of time it will be a big blow for Man United because he comes up with the goals when they need a goal in certain tight fixtures,” Pearce told talkSPORT.“That will be interesting to see how long that injury will be… I’m no physio, but the way Rashford pulled up, I can’t see this solving itself within the next two weeks or so.
“Martial will have to be a viable option for Ten Hag if Rashford is out. He was OK when he came on, but he only had to jog on the spot for his goal.
