Leeds United drew 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion at Elland Road
It's not been the return to the Championship Leeds United supporters were hoping for, but then it's not been the summer they were hoping for too. The Daniel Farke and 49ers Enterprises era has begun without a win in the league with three games gone, after a defeat and two draws.
The latest draw coming from a 1-1 game against West Bromwich Albion at Elland Road. It took a 72nd minute Luke Ayling header to rescue a point after the Baggies took the lead through a blatant handball goal which wasn't spotted by the officials. Leeds had their chances to win the match, but have to settle for a point which keeps them in the bottom half of the embryonic Championship standings.

Next up for Leeds is an away trip to an Ipswich Town side that currently sit top of the table before the Saturday afternoon games, with the Tractor Boys one of the sides tipped for promotion this season.
