The leak was first reported to Scottish Water over a week ago by disgusted locals who had to deal with the same issue for a month last year.
Residents in Dunblane have been left disgusted after raw sewage leaked onto the streets for a second time in under two years. The water waste appeared on Wednesday, August 28, spilling down the streets of the picturesque town, near Stirling.
At the time, officials remained adamant that it was not an emergency and reportedly said material flowing into the streets was likely groundwater. But locals have demanded answers after waste was seen running through the town again last week. Frustrated residents took to social media to share their disdain.
Cllr Tollemache - who worked for Scottish Water for 25 years before his retirement - said: "I have been in contact with Scottish Water over the last few days and have asked for a phone call and for this to be urgently attended to and resolved."
