While the actor didn't detail much about what to expect from the story, he indicated what his character's role would be while hinting at his connection to another character in the show. Who Is Zachary Beck In The Jack Reacher Book Series? As mentioned by Hall, Zachary is a character who is first introduced in Persuader as a rug dealer, though he's also a person of interest for the DEA, who believe his business is a front for drug trafficking. In order for Reacher to gain the trust of his family, the organization stages a kidnapping of the dealer's son, with the protagonist "rescuing" him from being taken.
