Fans of a popular Nottingham restaurant have posted their well wishes following the announcement that it is to close
Fans of a popular Nottingham restaurant have posted their well wishes following the "tragic" announcement that it is to close. Nottinghamshire Live readers have been speaking out following the news that one the city's most popular restaurants was set to close.
Petit Paris' sister venue, the Paris Bar and Restaurant on High Pavement, remains open and customers of the former have been urged to pay a visit. The menus at both restaurants were overseen by James Crossman, whose 22-year kitchen career included a stint under Gordon Ramsay at Claridges, where he was part of a team that gained a Michelin star in 2002.
Commenting on Nottinghamshire Live's Facebook page, Prakash Kachhala wrote: "Terrible news - a fantastic restaurant with super food and value!" Vicky Arnall said: "Such a shame and one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure to have visited over the years with family and friends. Ensuring you always made it to the theatre in time.. Such a loss to the city of Nottingham. Been going there since they started.. fondest memories."
