Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo could be a free agent in the January transfer window after concerns regarding his La Liga registration
Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo's agent has arrived in Manchester amid hopes that either Manchester United or Manchester City could sign the Spaniard.
However, the Catalan club currently find themselves in trouble with La Liga over his registration. The Spanish governing body agreed to hand Olmo a temporary registration until the end of 2024 due to Barcelona's financial issues. This has, of course, perked the interest of many clubs across Europe with United and City among the clubs linked with trying to sign him. Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claimed over the summer that United had shown a 'serious interest' in the midfielder, while more recent reports from The Sun have claimed Arsenal and Bayern Munich are due to rival City for Olmo's signature next month.
Bara previously worked on the deal that saw Josko Gvardiol join the Blues from RB Leipzig and this could be a contributing factor as to why the Croatian finds himself in Manchester over Christmas. Since joining Barcelona, the attacking midfielder has managed six goals and an assist in 15 appearances.
