Kate Middleton has largely remained out of the public eye since her cancer diagnosis in March, while her father-in-law, King Charles, has been spotted on several occasions and recently resumed his official duties despite still receiving treatment. Now, insiders have shed light on the touching reason behind their contrasting approaches.
Both Charles and Kate are currently undergoing treatment for the disease, although the specific types of cancers they are battling have not been confirmed. "As Sovereign, His Majesty is in a very different position from the Princess of Wales. There is no need for her to be seen while she's recovering.", reports the Mirror.
In step with Mental Health Awareness Week, William and Kate united their social media forces for a heartfelt post. Via their Kensington Royal platform, they wrote: "This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we've brought together the inspirational Sam Stables from We Are Farming Minds and the brilliant Farmer Will for a very special film."
