An assessment has been made into how the city handles citizens' grievances
As the local authority reviews its performance in handling citizens’ issues with its performance, officials have called on people to continue to let them know where to improve.
Ms McGrath took committee members through the document which laid out how the authority deals with residents’ complaints. It said: “We do not want people keeping their concerns to themselves or complaining to other people about our services. In April 2022 the council invited the Local Government Ombudsman to carry out a full review of its complaint handling procedures as part of a raft of reviews prompted by government-appointed commissioners.
