Rebecca Ferguson joins the cast of the movie adaptation of The Magic Faraway Tree. The film is based on the classic children’s novel of the same name, the second book in a series of four by author Enid Blyton. The stories take place in an enchanted wood where a giant, magical tree grows so tall that its tallest branches reach the clouds and so wide that there are houses carved into its trunk.

One of her most anticipated projects is the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie with Cillian Murphy; she also has Mercy with Chris Pratt and the upcoming, untitled Kathryn Bigelow film for Netflix.
Ferguson's singing voice was not used for The Greatest Showman, which also starred Hugh Jackman, Zendaya, and Zac Efron.
