Rebecca Loos has given a scathing account of David Beckham in her latest explosive interview regarding their alleged 2004 'affair' which the football icon has consistently denied. In a candid conversation with James English on his Anything Goes podcast, the now 47-year-old Loos unleashed a fresh torrent of insights into their controversial history without holding back, the Mirror reports.
Speaking to James, Rebecca recounted the increasing pressure from the media: 'Journalists were reaching out to me. In the end, I thought, 'this is probably going to come out, it's better it comes from me' and I decided to tell my story. And I naively thought people would appreciate somebody being honest and telling the truth. But people don't. They want to believe the fairytale.' To this, James responded understandably with: 'You've got to get the 'gold-digger, home-wrecker,' and that's understandable' only for Rebecca to admit she had underestimated the backlash that would follow: 'I knew it was going to be big, I didn't realise I'd get as much hatred as I got back then.' James further probed whether a straightforward admission from Beckham might have deterred her from making their private matters public, asking: 'Do you think if he was upfront and said, 'look, this is a little fling, blah blah blah' do you think you'd have ever come to the forefront with your story? Or do you think you did it because you were hurt as well? ' 'I was hurt' Rebecca replied as James pressed on, questioning: Did you think, f*** you? ' To which Rebecca's response was: 'Me going public was a 'f*** you mate',' further elaborating, 'For treating me like that. Big time. It was. I don't care how powerful you are, how much money you have. It's not OK.
