Rebel Wilson has taken to social media to name the 'a**hole' actor she claims has 'tried to silence her' over a mention in her upcoming memoir, Rebel Rising
Rebel Wilson has named the actor who she dubbed an 'a**hole' in her new memoir, Rebel Rising, as Sacha Baron Cohen, blasting that she refuses to be 'silenced' by the Borat actor in a new Instagram Stories post.
Sacha and Rebel were in the movie The Brother's Grimsby together, where Rebel was Sacha's character's girlfriend. They pretended to be parents to 11 children in the movie where Sacha played a huge fan of Grimsby Town football team. While he remained unnamed until Rebel's most recent post, the latter did previously claim that she was facing legal action from his team over the chapter.
And now, a representative for Sacha has shared a statement to TMZ and other outlets blasting Rebel's claims as untrue. It reads: "While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby.
