Earlier this afternoon, Derrygonnelly regained the Fermanagh Senior title with a 2-8 to 0-9 win over Belleek in Brewster Park
Crossmaglen and Clan na Gael locked horns in the opening round of the Armagh Championship and they are the two teams left standing ahead of this afternoon’s decider at the Box-It Athletic Grounds.
As group winners, Cross went straight through to the last eight, but they had to dig deep to see off the challenge of Armagh Harps at Silverbridge - winning 0-21 to 2-12 after extra-time before seeing off Madden in the semi-final. Clan na Gael last won the Armagh Senior title back in 1994 before Cross firmly established themselves as the dominant force in the Orchard County.
