The 2021 Footballer of the Year kicked four points from play as Pomeroy withstood a second half comeback from Moy
Tyrone star Kieran McGeary was in excellent form, hitting 0-4 from play, as Pomeroy defeated Moy to claim the Tyrone Intermediate Football titleA return to Senior football and another Ulster Intermediate campaign is the prize on offer for Moy and Pomeroy as they clash in O’Neills Healy Park this evening.
After coming out of retirement at the end of last season, former Tyrone star Sean Cavanagh stepped in as player-manager as the Moy made a late dash for the play-offs with five wins from six at the end of the League. However, with Frank Burns and Kieran McGeary in their ranks, Pomeroy will be confident of winning their first Intermediate title since 2016 when they also went on to secure Ulster honours.
