Two separate shootings took place over the weekend. Friday in Jonesboro a shooting killed one and injured another. Then Saturday night in Wynne a block party shooting killed one and resulted in at least nine injuries.
The police arrived near Race Street Market just before 10 p.m. On the scene, Lamarion Bailey, 18 was pronounced dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Damariantae Russell, 23, arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound that was related to the crime.
Then on Saturday night, in Wynne at about 10 p.m., a second shooting took place. One man was killed and at least nine more were injured.
