NSW Police have revealed a classroom at a public school in Sydney's south-west was full of Year 1 and 2 students at the time a shot was fired through a window.
Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command were called to Macquarie Fields Public School about 12.45pm, following reports that a classroom window had been smashed by a"metal projectile".
He said the classroom was full of Year 1 and 2 students at the time the window was smashed by the bullet.
